The motto“Heroes, together in strength, to care with honor” is for all Family Caregivers who care for a loved one, whether it is full time or part time, long-term or short-term, within the home, or outside of the home. You are all Heroes for your dedication, caring for a loved one.

The best Family Caregiver support services is connecting with other experienced Family Caregivers who understand your concerns; taking care of yourself, and how to best take care of your loved one. As a Family Caregiver you are not alone, as it is estimated that there are millions of Family Caregivers in the USA and Canada today, requiring assistance to help with the over whelming burden of caring for a loved one in need.

The national crisis of family care giving for our elderly, ill and disabled loved ones is slowly being recognized by society and federal governments.

You as the Family Caregiver

One of many Heroes in our society who requires a support alliance, to learn additional skills to cope with physical exhaustion and emotional stress to prevent depression, burnout, and isolation and to understand the financial risks and concerns while caring for a loved one.

Your Family Loved One

The person you are caring for: either a spouse, sibling, friend, parent, or child. Your loved one did not come with a “care information guide” and you, as a Family Caregiver will have to learn through experience and through the help of other Family Caregivers, on how best to care for your loved one.

Medical Resources

Continually updated through the Heroes Forum, a Family Caregiver resource network on aged care assistance for semi-independent seniors and care givers responsible for frail elderly loved ones, who have health related concerns for nutrition, assisted home care, nursing care facilities, home caregiver aides, adult day care, respite, hospice support, and geriatric care services.

Advocacy for Family Caregivers

To educate society, governments, and even Family Caregivers on social, legal, financial, and health care rights while caring for a loved one. To create a national alliance of Family Caregivers for federal reform to protect Family Caregivers whose efforts caring for a loved one strengthens the family unit, which in turn strengthens our society and nation.
